The Oldsmobile 403 V8 Engine

The bottom end; just after I got it back from the machine shop.

The bare block, after I re-honed the walls and installed the crank.

Hmm...now where does this extra bolt go?

I love to look at those brand new pistons
(Silvolite).  It's too bad they won't be that
clean once I start running the engine!

The block, with the heads "installed".  The
paint is "Chrysler Blue".  I left the intake
off in this picture so you could see the
man-sized intake ports.

The brand new TRW valve train.  I had to
spring for some rocker arm bolts from
Lowe's because my old ones were just too yucky-lookin'.

There she is...over $1500's worth!
