Power Stop Cross Drilled Brake Rotors Autospecialties manufactures a performance brake rotor under the brand name Power Stop. They make rotors for almost every car and truck, and offer them for the Cadillac Seville. I ordered mine from Brakeco.com and talked to John (their toll-free number is 888-428-7278). He gave me a price of $119.98 each for the fronts and $87.98 for the rears. I chose to order just the fronts for now and match then with Bendix Titanium-Metallic brake pads. John also offered me three performance pad sets, and I thought about the Extreme 911 pads he mentioned, but I didn't want to introduce a big imbalance between the front and the rear brakes (putting high-performance pads on the front and leaving stock Delco pads on the rear). So I went with heavy-duty OEM replacement Bendix pads. Updated January 2004: I've now got 2 years and over 40,000 miles on these pads and rotors and the rotors look great. There's not a hint of fade from the brakes and no uneven spots or "warping" whatsoever. If you notice on the "Maintenance" page linked above, this car would historically need the rotors refaced every 25,000 miles or so, and these are on their way to twice that mileage. There are no cracks at all around any of the holes -- they're radiused from the factory, versus chamfered, which is supposed to eliminate cracking at the holes. Either it works, or they weren't going to crack anyway because they still look solid and rust-free (that gold cadmium coating proved its worth)!
